North Central Academy is thrilled to announce that Senior, Stephanie Cheney-Sigero has been accepted as a Student State Representative for BeStrong Global! Stephanie will serve NCA alongside her co-representative and NCA Junior, Emily Thomas.
Stephanie is often described by the North Central Academy staff as incredibly caring, emotionally intelligent, and a leader through service. Last academic year Stephanie was recognized for establishing the annual NCA Thanksgiving event- a tradition that will carry on for the students of North Central Academy far beyond her tenure with NCA.
NCA School Counselor, Mrs. Rita Overmier had this to say about Stephanie "Not only does Steph plan meaningful and fun events for her peers, Stephanie makes a point to sit with lonely students at lunch with no hesitation! She reaches out to the students at NCA that appear to lack friendships. No student at NCA can turn down her kind gestures because her big smile, and laugh makes everyone drawn to her I have not met such a genuinely nice student that does random acts of kindness to brighten the days of others."
